AUTO IMMUNE PLUS IS A BIOTECHNOLOGY COMPANY BASED IN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA. 

We have conducted clinical studies and trials to test the efficacy of two products on emerging animal and human health issues, most notably, African Swine Fever and influenza. 

Paximune 1 has been designed to be administered to animals, while Paximune 2 has been designed to be administered to humans. 

What are Paximune 1 and Paximune 2?

The Technology

Both drugs are based on a formulation of proteins known as Low Dose Bovine Interferon (IFN). Interferon is the name given to a family of glycoprotein response modifiers and immuno-regulators that are central to the action of the immune system. Basically, interferon mimics the bodies immune system’s natural response to infection, helping the body produce antibodies at an early stage. 


Low Dose Bovine Interferon (IFN) has proven efficacy in treating a broad range of infectious and autoimmune diseases; everything from hepatitis C to respiratory tract infections. Its safety and ability to enhance the immune response has been studied for over 30 years and is documented in more than 125 peer reviewed papers.

Auto Immune Plus

Auto Immune Plus has completed a research program in Vietnam, and the Phillipines studying African Swine Fever, a previously untreatable virus with a near 100% mortality rate in infected swine.


Our trials have shown excellent efficacy, demonstrating that pigs which tested positive can after being treated using Paximune 1 return negative results. The fact infected pigs produced antibodies to the virus post-treatment has prompted further research into the development of a vaccine.

Paximune 2®

Auto Immune Plus has a proprietary method for the cost effective production of a unique immunity enhancement compound, Low Dose Bovine Oral Interferon (IFN).
